The Pathways to Wellbeing Symposium and Worksite Wellness Awards Luncheon will offer the latest research, best practices, projects and new ideas in the realm of health and wellness in the workplace and community. Our dynamic speakers will share concrete, tangible information that can immediately be utilized in workplace wellness, in a community model or personally. The Symposium will also offer an opportunity to engage and connect with community members working in your field of interest. 

Continuing Education Credits are offered for the Symposium in the professions of: Nursing, Social Work, Certified Health Education Specialist & MCHES and Education. Some sessions have been pre-approved for General HR credit from the HR Certification Institute and SHRM-CP credit from the SHRM Professional Development Certification. (Check back soon for more information on the exact number of continuing education hours offered, as well as information on the qualified HR sessions). 

The Worksite Wellness Awards Luncheon honors local businesses for embracing workplace wellness and making a difference in their employees’ lives.

 Keynote Speaker: Dr. Edward Creagan

Dr. Creagan,  M.D., F.A.A.H.P.M., is a cancer specialist and expert in hospice and palliative care at the Mayo Clinic. He is a medical doctor who's been in clinical practice for over 37 years, who understands the importance of complementary and alternative medicine, the power of hope, prayer and meditation, the impact of music and touch, the healing power of pets, and MIRACLES!  Dr. Creagan is the author of over 400 scientific papers and has shared his knowledge, passion and expertise at over 1,000 presentations throughout the world. He is the author of "How Not to Be My Patient: A Physicians' Secrets for Staying Healthy and Surviving Any Diagnosis" and will be signing copies of this book at the Symposium, and will also be offering free book downloads!   

Luncheon Speaker: Sean Sullivan, JD

Mr. Sullivan is president and CEO of the Institute for Health and Productivity Management (IHPM), a global organization he co-founded in 1997.  During his luncheon keynote, Mr. Sullivan will introduce the concepts of advanced health management training, and inspire attendees to think beyond traditional wellness benefits and design wellness programs that focus on health management and productivity.
